Warranty Summary
This summary is intended to create clarity and expectations for Masaba's limited warranty. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in dealer responsibility for unauthorized warranty commitments and repairs.
Warranty Coverage Overview
Standard Limited Warranty (New Equipment & Components)
- 2 years or 4,160 operating hours (whichever occurs first) from date of ship
- Covers defects in material or workmanship
Structural Components (New Equipment Only)
- 5 years or 10,400 operating hours (whichever occurs first) from date of ship
- Covers defects in material or workmanship
Third-Party Components
- Not covered under Masaba's Limited Warranty
- Sold strictly AS-IS
- For third party components purchased by Masaba, claims will be directed to the OEM – OEM determination will guide Masaba warranty decision
Conditions Required for Warranty Coverage
Warranty applies only if the customer:
- Follows all maintenance requirements in the product manual
- Operates the equipment within specifications and load limits
- Avoids unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Uses the product only for its intended purpose
- Stops operation upon failure
What Is Not Covered
- Damage or failure from normal wear and tear
- Abuse, misuse, or damage
- Overloading
- Unauthorized alterations or modifications
- Failures caused by third-party components or equipment
- Continued operation after failure
- Improper maintenance
- Warranty repairs not authorized by Masaba
Warranty Remedies
If a valid claim is approved, Masaba may:
- Repair the product
- Replace the product
- Refund the purchase price
Important:
• Remedy selection is at Masaba's sole discretion.
• Repairs are performed at Masaba's designated location unless otherwise agreed.
• Customer is responsible for transportation of parts and equipment unless claim is approved.
• No dealer may commit Masaba to repairs, downtime reimbursement, or consequential damages.
• To minimize downtime, Masaba may request a purchase order to hold for parts or labor while warranty eligibility is being evaluated if immediate replacement is required
Claims Process
- Customer must submit claim within 30 days of discovering the issue via the dealer portal
- Claim must be made within the applicable warranty period
- Return of parts or equipment requires prior written authorization from Masaba service Manager or Director
